How to Access a Mailbox From a different Nortel Phone

Step by Step Guide

In order to access your own voicemail from another phone, or if you are the administrator and you need to check voicemail box of one of your colleagues, here is the procedure:

1. First press “feature” button on the phone, then enter 981, this will give you access to the mailbox functions.

2. You will hear the system ask: “Please enter your mailbox number and your password, then press the number sign”. Now enter your mailbox number, then enter your mailbox password, then press “#”.

3. If succeeded, you should hear the system pronunce your mailbox name. You can now check your voicmail messages and performs various tasks.
